[Movies I’ve Watched This Year] #13: Reality Bites (1994, dir. Ben Stiller). I know it has been around forever but I was only able to watch it the other week and well, this movie couldn’t have come at a better time. Really perfect for where I currently am in my life. One thing though, it instilled in me an idea that reality is going to bite me in the ass real soon and unfortunately, I won’t have an Ethan Hawke who’s going to tell me that all we’re ever going to need are him and me and five bucks and so I’m a little scared of what the future holds for me. *sigh* Haha. Fun Fact: This song got its big break from this movie. 

Troy: What happened was that, um, I kind of got this arcane glimpse of the universe. And the best thing that I can say about that is, uh… I don’t know. I have this planet of regret, sitting on my shoulders. And you have no idea how much I wish that I could go back to that morning after we made love, and do everything different. But I know that I can’t. So. I thought that I would come here and tell you something. And what I wanted to tell you, is that I love you. And uh I just wanted to make sure that that was clear, so there wasn’t any confusion.
